Primary Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development lifecycle with a focus on developing new features and functionalities for enterprise software solutions, encompassing service layers, integration, user interfaces and data
  • Propose product enhancements and the adoption of new features, including new technologies
  • Create and design programming code
  • SOA designed monoliths to microservices
  • Design API contracts
  • Make recommendations on how software features and functionality can best be utilized by the end-user
  • Assess issues and follow establish protocol for problem resolution
  • Attend training courses as required and stay abreast of evolving internal processes and industry developments
  • Applies problem-solving skills to provide customer support to resolve escalations
  • Adopt new technologies
  • Meeting performance, availability, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and security SLAs Provides other ad hoc support and duties as assigned

 

Technical Expertise:

  • Proven experience with C#/.NET Framework for both API and front-end development of existing applications.
  • Demonstrable ability with C#/.NET Core for API development and React for front-end development of net-new applications.
  • Knowledge and experience with SOLID design principles, cloud computing, test automation, and CICD

 

Technical Skills:

  • NET Framework (up to and including 4.72)
  • .NET Core (2.2, 3.x)
  • C# (ASP.NET, MVC, Web API)
  • AWS/Azure experience and/or certification
  • SAFe Agile experience and/or certification is nice to have
  • CICD experience (Jenkins, GitLab) and automated UI testing
  • AWS SQS OR RabbitMQ/NServiceBus is a plus
  • Angular, React, NodeJS or transferrable experience with other JavaScript frameworks
  • SOLID principles and Object-Oriented Design patterns
  • Unit testing (NUnit, xUnit)
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with at least 3 years of programming experience or a Master’s degree; OR in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, at least 5 years of direct programming experience
  • Understanding of/utilizing Agile and Scrum software development methodologies
  • Ability to document, track and monitor a problem/issue to a timely resolution
  • Collaborative problem solving ability and self-motivated
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills along with prioritization of duties
