The fundamental responsibility of the Catalog Manager is the implementation and upkeep of all digital part number and catalog assets both internally and externally. In addition to this important function of the marketing team, the position will act as the primary contact to provide direction for marketing, billing, implementation delivery, finance, tax, and sales to establish best practices for CDK catalog assets. 


Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

  • Set up, maintain and frequently update catalog and part numbers with the most up to date information
  • Field requests to support changes needed to boost sales of both tangible and intangible products and services
  • Deleting or updating information in case of discontinued products or services
  • Updating and assigning product and commercial product hierarchies for product, marketing, and commercial categorizations and reporting purposes
  • Assigning Sales Quoting Tool (SQT) and proposal (CPQ) section assignments for the purpose proposal generation and enable discount monitoring via the Deal Desk
  • Assist in designing customer framework for enterprise customers such that part numbers are simplified and optimized for sales, billing and the customer
  • Conduct special projects as assigned


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to be timely and accurate in written and verbal responses in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills are required to collaborate across numerous functions including: sales, marketing, product development, support, and finance
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office suite, in particular Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing, or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 + years’ experience in one or more of the following: Asset Management, Pricing, Sales Support, Commercial Management, OR any other business related



  • Considerable working knowledge of multiple functional areas such as sales, finance, operations, etc. and demonstrated ability to integrate information across those fields
  • 2+ years of experience in setting or managing catalogs, part numbers, or other assets
  • 2+ years of experience with software or services environment
  • 2+ years of experience in automotive industry
