Job Description
CDK Global is the leader in providing integrated technology solutions to dealerships world-wide and is looking for a Client Engagement Manager III for the OEM Operations and Program Management team.  This role is a mid-level position.  The Client Engagement Manager III is responsible for supporting OEM and Enterprise Dealer Group clients in managing their custom integration programs and plays a central role in the coordination of their OEM development activities.  The Client Engagement Manager will have oversight of the OEM’s custom integration initiatives and the resources to achieve strategic business goals and to ensure the overall program goals are met. This position will also provide leadership and high-level oversight to the internal CDK teams in the delivery of other major projects for the OEM. This position is responsible for setting the program’s strategic direction and providing program planning, budget, and assessment of all projects within the program to ensure technical and launch success.  

 

Responsibilities for this position include ensuring all aspects of internal and external program communications, establishing and tracking program performance metrics, requirement gathering, program planning, managing program timeline and budgets, knowledge of CDK Global applications and a strong knowledge of CDK Global project management processes and best practices.

 

The Client Engagement Manager III is analytical, strategic, and articulate. Has a highly developed business acumen and excels at directing a cross-functional project team to effectively support the program.

 

Key Responsibilities  
-    Oversite of acquisitions
-    Project manage with all cross-function teams to drive install, infrastructure, and client requests
-    Coordinate communications across all groups
-    Liaison to Lithia for acquisitions and projects
-    Partner with Sales to identify new opportunities
-    Participate in Lithia Opportunity reviews to vet initiatives in support of Account Management Team
-    Responsible for project quoting, level of effort sizing with Product and Engineering support
-    Creation of Term Sheets
-    Responsible for pricing reviews with Commercialization
-    Development project SOWs, CRs and Addendums
-    Assist with project contract negotiations
-    Work with Legal, Finance, Revenue Recognition for reviews and approvals
-    Project Manage operational cross-functional initiatives to deliver on milestones
-    Requirement gathering
-    Facilitate UAT with internal teams and external client
-    Coordinate pilot selection and onboarding 
-    Manage client review meetings and project prioritization
-    Manage revenue project forecasting and initiate billing
-    General program support (billing, launch support, release planning, troubleshooting)
-    Cross-functional coordination for problem resolution
-    Internal project reporting
-    External client project/ program reporting
-    Contractual program reporting

 

Required Skills
-    Knowledgeable on CDK applications
-    Knowledgeable in automotive retailing solutions and workflow
-    Demonstrated ability in managing external client expectations on program requirements and deliverables 
-    Ability to lead in a matrix environment / ability to lead a virtual team
-    Demonstrated experience in client relationship management

-    3 to 5 years of software Engagement, Program and/or Project Management experience
-    Expert with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, and Visio
-    Bachelor’s or equivalent experience
-    PMP or other industry certification a plus
