Job Title: HR Business Partner


Position Summary

The HR Business Partner is responsible for assisting and/or leading the planning and delivering of customized HR services in the achievement of business goals and objectives.


General Responsibilities:

HR Business Partnering:

  • Builds trusted relationships with clients to provide strategic consultative support in improving critical business outcomes
  • Understands the business and leadership priorities in order to enable their success with an aligned people strategy
  • Contributes to and implements established HR strategy for assigned organizations

Talent Management:

  • Partners with the business and COE’s to identify, develop, and retain key talent across the organization, utilizing succession plans to build the capabilities needed to deliver for the future success of the organization

Leadership Development:

  • Maximizes the potential of leaders by assisting senior management identify the competencies needed to lead to achieve business results
  • Assessing gaps between existing and needed competencies
  • Consulting to leverage the tools and processes for learning and growth (i.e., Situational Leadership, high- potential programs, 360 assessments, mentoring, etc.)

OD Consulting:

  • Maintains organizational effectiveness through ongoing organizational design, analysis and implementation, and change management consulting
  • Consults and coaches to enable our associates and line managers to interact in a way that reflects our corporate values
  • Collects data, analyzes trends, identifies and addresses root causes to proactively drive an Employer of Choice culture

Performance Planning / Coaching:

  • Consults with leaders to effectively plan for performance, Coach/mentor and evaluate performance Ensures alignment between rewards and associate contributions
  • Effectively utilizes performance management tools and processes

Employee Relations:

  • Coach and support leaders and managers in conflict resolution
  • Communicate with a high level of impact and strong influencing, problem solving, and collaborating skills

Culture and Engagement:

  • Establish and maintain high levels of employee engagement by resolving issues that have a negative impact on morale and identifying opportunities to improve employee satisfaction and contribution


 Qualifications & Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • 5+ years professional experience within a strategic, senior human resources capacity
  • Prefer experience within the financial/technology/software industries – in a matrix, global environment Customer focused and successful leader with a high level of credibility and collaboration
  • Strong understanding of change management and process excellence principles; application of these principles to solve complex business problems
  • Analytically driven; fluent with data-driven analysis and performance metrics including data visualization[s] Broad business and financial understanding and the ability to apply to human capital implications
  • Excellent talent and social branding skills leader and participant of social talent branding activities
  • Ability to think strategically, synthesize business data and develop innovative and holistic HR solutions that are forward thinking and growth oriented
  • Developing skills in championing organizational, cultural and change management initiatives
