The successful candidate will lead a team of highly skilled QA Engineers across the complete corporate applications portfolio. This role will be part of the corporate applications leadership team reporting to the VP of corporate applications, driving the test strategy and quality initiatives for the Enterprise Technology team. The Director of IT Quality Assurance is responsible for building, evolving and executing the CDK IT corporate applications quality assurance program. CDK is in the early stages of a larger business transformation program, and the person filling this position will have the opportunity to have significant input on the building of a new QA program from the ground up.




Qualified candidates will have:


  • 3+ years of experience managing a Quality Assurance program and team
  • 10+ years of experience working in IT Software Quality Assurance, including experience in software development, system design, and automated system testing
  • Previous experience building a robust, formalized QA methodology including relevant tools
  • Test management leadership experience with Oracle Cloud or another similar system (MANDATORY)
  • Test management leadership experience with Salesforce or another similar system (nice to have)
  • Previous experience working in an agile-based culture and relevant tools
  • Previous experience working in Dev Ops principals
  • Familiarity with automated testing software
  • Proficiency with VersionOne, Java/JavaScript, Selenium, SQL or other automated testing tools is desirable
  • Experience with change management/control methodologies and underlying systems
  • Hands-on experience with software quality testing software a plus, including manual regression testing tools
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, work environment
  • Deep Experience in working with automated testing frameworks
  • Experience in both Waterfall and Scrum Agile SDLC methodologies
  • Strong Experience in testing Cloud-based solutions as well as bare metal solutions
  • Experience in leading a global and distributed team


 Job responsibilities include:

  • Directing/Managing on/offshore testing resources
  • Oversight of all corporate applications QA and release processes
  • Coordinating resources across multiple systems integrators
  • Strategy, development and implementation of a sustainable quality assurance methodology for Enterprise IT
  • Oversight of the creation a test script library
  • Oversight of Regression test development
  • Coordinate the use of all testing environments
