CDK is growing and we are looking for a proven sales leader with strategic and operational expertise to join our leadership team.  We’re looking for a data-driven, strategic, and results-oriented executive who can conceptualize, design and, execute programs end to end.  As the Vice President of Sales Strategy and Operations, you will create and implement sales solutions that increase sales productivity and meet revenue, retention, and growth goals.  The successful VP will lead our sales operations, sales training, and sales enablement teams.   

 

 

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

 

  • Create and implement programs end-to-end that increase sales productivity
  • Consult with the Sales Leadership Team (SLT) on vision and strategy by providing sales insights and analytics (KPIs)
  • Focus on driving new business and increasing retention across sales organizations through close collaboration with the SLT and P&L leaders across the business
  • Lead multiple teams focused on sales enablement including Solutions Consultants, Sales Training, Sales Operations
  • Drive complex projects aligned to high priority business objectives, working closely with partners across the business.
  • Cultivate strong and mutually respected relationships across the organization and partner with the SLT to solve complex problems and identify productivity improvement opportunities
  • Drive a culture of continuous innovation and globally consistent standards
  • Work directly with Executive Leadership Team to present Sales Metrics and Initiatives

 

Qualifications & Job Requirements

 

  • 15+ years progressive business experience with minimum of 10 years in leadership
  • Mix of sales, management consulting and operational leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to deconstruct complex problems, identify the most impactful levers, and prioritize efforts in addressing them.
  • Highly strategic, and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Results-oriented leader with excellent business vision and strategic thinking and a proven track record of solving complex problems, thinking creatively and successfully drawing the larger business story out of facts and data.
  • Strong knowledge of B2B Sales practices with a proven ability to establish trusted business relationships across business units, gain consensus and drive action from a large, diverse set of constituents.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and teams in a fast-paced environment and to inspire rapid adoption of change in a complex matrixed organization with distributed virtual teams. Ability to prioritize & handle multiple requests concurrently and consistently deliver superior results in a timely fashion.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver compelling executive-level presentations. Excellent verbal & written communication skills with demonstrated ability to convey complex concepts and analyses in an accessible and compelling way.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s strongly preferred. Degrees with a concentration in statistics, data science, operations research, finance, or economics preferred.
