Director of Operations:

A successful candidate will work alongside executive leadership of the assigned business unit to drive profitability and maximize efficiency.  This role is focused on evaluating the current operations of the business, finding areas of improvement, and driving solutions to maximize the businesses potential. Key responsibilities include expense analysis and control, sales analysis to pinpoint key areas of focus, evaluate and make recommendations to improve key procedures related to profitability, help create and execute the strategic plan of the business.  A successful candidate will interface with Division VP, Finance, Accounting, Sales Ops, Install Ops, and other executive level roles.

 

Objectives of this Role

  • Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans
  • Review financial information to find leakage and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability
  • Regularly evaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
  • Work with Finance, product leadership and dev managers in the development of financial and budgetary plans
  • Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity
  • Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
  • Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement when necessary
  • Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors
  • Manage vendor spend, invoicing and AP processes to make certain these are in line with install, financial projections and allocation.
  • Strong ability to identify process inefficiency and creatively redefine
  • Strong sense of business process creativity
  • Be able to develop and deliver presentations at the ALT audience level 
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Outstanding communication and people skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelines
  • In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service etc.)
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g. ERP, CRM)
