CDK Global is looking for collaborative innovators who are passionate about making their mark on emerging enterprise software products. We’re building and developing cloud technology for the automotive retail industry that will change the landscape for automotive dealers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and the customers they serve.

 

CDK’s Research and Insights Team is looking for an enthusiastic Market Research Intern.

 

Throughout the summer, this person will assist in end-to-end market research projects including the design, administration, analysis and reporting of customer data. The research conducted will include quantitative and qualitative methodologies to bring the voice of the customer (aka our dealers!) to CDK Global. These insights will guide company-wide efforts in improving the customer experience and in identifying emerging products and services that will help our dealers achieve their business goals. The Market Research Intern must be an engaging storyteller who can bring data to life and help internal stakeholders understand not only what the research is telling us today, but also how we can leverage this information to make a difference, tomorrow. The location of this internship will be remote but working with the Seattle-based team.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Transform internal stakeholder objectives to functional research projects to achieve their research objectives
  • Collaborate with the Research & Insights Team to plan and execute research projects including creating research briefs, planning methodologies, writing survey questionnaires and facilitating survey distribution
  • Work with the Research & Insights Team to create research reports, presentations and marketing content to bring data to life
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research in the areas of customer satisfaction, brand awareness, and product research

 

Qualifications & Job Requirements:

  • College junior or higher standing
  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or another related field
  • Possess intermediate knowledge of survey development and design
  • Possess intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Qualtrics knowledge is a plus!)
  • Experience working with/interpreting quantitative and qualitative data
  • Experience in developing compelling project deliverables – creating data visualizations, reporting decks, writing articles, etc.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects at once and maintain attention to detail
