Position Summary

The Sr Dir, Product & Technology (P&T) Business Operations is a key role on the P&T leadership team, and is responsible for representing the P&T strategy and initiatives across the CDK organization. This role will also drive a broad range of programs designed to engage and develop our teams, integrate into the broader CDK organization, and create and manage executive reporting.

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

  • Develop structure and processes for team strategy creation and reviews
  • Serves as a trusted advisor and partner with the leadership team on effective tactics to increase impact and value of initiatives
  • Deeply understand P&T business and create and coordinate presentations and communications for Executive Leadership Team and Board Leadership meetings
  • Understand the high-level roadmap activities driven by each function, and how we’re progressing against targets; drive feedback channels to identify hurdles and hinderances early
  • In partnership with Finance Business Partners, drive financial awareness and operational financial management practices across leadership team
  • Coordinate within P&T and across broader CDK organization to proactively identify areas that should be leveraged within and across the teams
  • Evaluate efficiency of team operations; identify, develop, and pursue ongoing opportunities to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of team processes and workflow
  • Plan and oversee P&T leadership agendas and events, including content and guest speakers

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology Operations, Program Management or related field; MBA preferred
  • Min. 10 years of professional experience demonstrated success leading technology operations
  • Solid understanding of financial performance and financial levers to be managed within technology; ability to identify risks and help drive resolution
  • Ability to problem solve and work well in complex, ambiguous situations
  • Strong analytical and management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and technical experts
  • Ability to collaborate and drive difficult decisions among business partners
  • Analytically driven; fluent with data-driven analysis and performance metrics including data visualizations for executive and leadership presentations 
  • Ability to think strategically to develop innovative and holistic business solutions that are forward thinking and growth oriented
