The purpose of this role is to provide day-to-day legal support for the Keyloop business. You will do this through the various key duties below: 


Key Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Provide day-to-day legal support to the Keyloop business across EMEA and other regions as required, either directly or by managing support from external counsel. 
  • Draft, negotiate and/or review a wide variety of customer, vendor and strategic business partner contracts. 
  • Advise management on various legal issues with a particular emphasis on software licensing and data protection compliance. 
  • Advise management on various regulatory and compliance issues including competition law and anti-bribery matters. 
  • Provide assistance with respect to any acquisitions or other corporate activity involving Keyloop, including post-acquisition business integration. 
  • Advise and assist with the implementation of Keyloop-wide compliance projects and policies. 
  • Coordinate, manage and supervise external counsel as necessary/appropriate. 
  • Advise on disputes affecting Keyloop businesses. 
  • Ensure that management are briefed on relevant legislative and legal changes affecting the business. 
  • Contribute to the Keyloop legal team’s knowledge sharing practices. 


Skills, knowledge and experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge and practical application of general commercial law and legal issues relating to the provision of IT products and services including data protection law.
  • Strong business skills and good business judgment.
  • Good issue spotting and analytical skills.
  • Strong legal drafting skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to manage a transaction to completion and proactively anticipate issues or problems that may arise.
  • Ability to understand and adapt to different cultures quickly.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills, with the ability to manage / prioritize multiple matters and balance quality with expedience.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to develop solid working relationships with all levels of Keyloop management, external counsel, vendors and customers.


Essential qualifications 

  • Qualified lawyer in either the UK or EU
  • Degree in law or equivalent qualification



  • Ability to speak language(s) other than English
