The Director, IT Business Automation and Tools will have a fundamental impact on our move toward a modern Infrastructure team including transformations of processes and tools as well as our adoption of the cloud.  This is a new position and will report directly to the VP Infrastructure Services.


Position can be based in Austin/Portland/San Jose



  • Extensive experience assessing and delivering applications and tooling that run the business of IT
  • Must have experience with ServiceNow, nice to have Service Cloud and other Service Management Applications
  • ITIL Centric Knowledge and implementation Experience
  • Agile iterative release mindset
  • Process Automation in the area of CMDB, ITSM, ITOM and other key IT Services
  • Establish Key set of Monitoring Tools and consolidate and eliminate legacy versions
  • Implement Log and Event Mgmt. tools and filters
  • Experience with notification management tools like OpsGenie or PagerDuty
  • Strong business process design and organizational change management
  • Must be able to define and implement clean, near real-time, integrations across multiple systems
  • Gather Requirements, understand data models and data access to create Dashboards and Score Cards for business operations KPIs
  • Experience with implementing tools capable of supporting on premises and cloud environments
  • Experience with implementing capabilities which provide notifications of customer vs non-customer impacting incidents
  • Instrument large environments to 30k devices
  • Familiar with iterative improvement and maturity modeling like Six-Sigma and CMM
  • Familiar with AWS or other cloud deployments.
