The Fortellis Inside Sales Representative will…  Be responsible for generating leads, sales opportunities and completing contracts either through cold calls to existing customers or by fielding incoming calls and making outgoing calls. Inside Sales means you’ll be talking with automotive dealers, presenting industry leading products, and helping to solve problems that all dealers face and don’t know how to solve. You’ll overcome objections, identify customer needs, and present solutions that further the goals of CDK’s current client base. In summary, as a Fortellis Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Maintaining account management functions in order to meet customer expectations and assure satisfying relationships
  • Making outbound sales calls to follow up on leads and further qualify the customer needs
  • Answering inbound sales calls
  • Consulting with existing customers to find out their business needs and how CDK's products can help resolve or manage their business needs

 

Job Attributes

A background in a sales or call center position would help make you a successful candidate. Other attributes that will help you stand out are:

  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM solutions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to build strong, quality client relationships
  • Drive and motivation to meet and exceed personal goals along with sales goals
  • A positive attitude, high energy level with a strong work ethic, and adaptability to change
  • An understanding of the automotive industry
  • Experience with making sales calls and phone presentations

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of cold calling or phone sales skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Microsoft Office Skills, specifically Outlook Tasks and Calendar scheduling
  • Account Management skills
  • Ability to learn new technology quickly
  • Experience/exposure to the Automotive industry a definite positive asset
