Position Summary


Researches, writes, edits, and produces training materials for classroom and/or computer-based delivery with the goal of increasing client performance, satisfaction and engagement.  Possesses a developing knowledge of CDK products, processes and/or skill sets, and strives to gain a deeper understanding of dealership operations and our Industry.  Requires a strong understanding of how to use learning design software and how to apply learning development standards.


Position Responsibilities & Essential functions


  • Build relationships and collaborate with business stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and other team members.
  • Participate in meetings, research training content, and conduct interviews to better understand audience needs and instructional deliverables.
  • Increasingly design engaging interactions and learning interventions that are focused on audience performance and engagement.
  • Increasingly develop learning interventions that are visually appealing and easy to understand.
  • Increasingly use development tools such as Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, MadCap Flare and Microsoft Office applications, and adapt to new software and learning techniques as needed.
  • Contribute to an agile work environment with rapid development and shifting priorities. 


Qualifications & Job Requirements


  • This position requires 2-5 years’ experience or a BA/BS in Adult Education or related field. 




  • Working knowledge of the learning design process.
  • Developing knowledge of adult learning theory and learning best practices.
  • Developing knowledge of learning development software.
  • Developing knowledge of dealership operations and the automotive industry.
  • Foundational knowledge of assigned products, process and audience.


Can be located in one of our main CDK Offices - Austin TX, Norwood OH, Hoffman Estates, IL
