The Learning Management System Support Specialist provides ongoing support for the learning systems utilized by CDK associates and clients. This includes configuration, installation, troubleshooting, analysis, and maintenance of all learning systems such as the Learning Management System, Learning Content Management System, Sandbox Lab Environment, integrations to WebEx, learning portals, SharePoint, etc. 

 

This role will be the first point of contact for all technical learning system support requests submitted to the Learning Technologies Team.

 

We are considering candidates from Austin, Cincinnati and/or Seattle only.

 

Job Attributes:

. Provide excellent level 2 technical support to associates and clients for learning systems.

. Support LMS Administrator Support Specialists with tier 1 technical support for learning systems.

. Collaborate with Learning Development, HR, IT and third-party vendors to design, implement, maintain and support learning systems.

. Identify opportunities to improve the user experience with our learning system and processes

. Support internal and external audiences with metrics and both standard and custom reporting from learning systems.

. Develop and maintain training documentation, workflows and procedures, and provide training to staff as appropriate.

. Design, document and train staff on Learning Systems workflows and processes.

. Continually evaluates learning systems for updates, performance upgrades and systems integrations as necessary.

. Serve as the main contact with technology vendors, including resolving complex technical issues, upgrades, communications, testing and activating new functionality.

. Plan and execute user test plans for systems upgrades and new functionality.

. Maintain organization hierarchy of courses, catalog and meta-data related to learning paths to help ensure ease of use for end users.

 

Requirements:

. Bachelor's degree in IT, systems management, business, or related field required, or equivalent work or educational experience.

. Minimum 3 years of systems, database, reporting, or related experience required.

. 2-3 years technical system administration of learning management systems.

. Expertise level of knowledge of LMS technologies.

. Experience with database management required.

. Exceptional communication skills.

. Ability to prioritize work requests with a sense of urgency to ensure SLA compliance. 

 

Preferred:

. Experience with SuccessFactors LMS

. Experience with SaSS learning technologies

. Experience in a technical support role

. Experience administering training lab environments

. Experience working with third-party vendors

. Minimal travel required.
