The Program Manager of Operations Security and Continuity is a member of the Data Services Business Operations Team. This role reports to the Senior Director of Operations, and is responsible for planning and executing strategic projects to ensure that the Data Services business is compliant with all corporate security and business continuity best practices and standards.

 

In this role you will be leading projects, identifying risks and dependencies, driving execution, growing accountability across teams and generally helping the Data Services Business thrive. You will continually improve our delivery process through a commitment to quality and timely delivery. The role is highly cross functional, working with technical and business teams throughout the organization.

 

Responsibilities

  • Leading a cross-functional team to implement and maintain corporate security and business continuity best practices and standards, ensuring that controls are governed and enhancements are planned through formal process.
  • Work closely with operations, product, engineering, and corporate security teams to maintain a complete inventory of business processes, information systems, and operations infrastructure components.
  • Frequently analyze, test, and evaluate operations to identify gaps in compliance
  • Prioritize, plan, and execute projects to address identified gaps in compliance.
  • Produce status reports on security operations including the use of key performance indicators to track progress against defined benchmarks
  • Develop and maintain an Operations Security and Continuity Roadmap and report status against the roadmap to the Data Services executive team.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a software development environment
  • 5+ years of operations, project/program management or compliance auditing experience;  preferably in a data services related business
  • Strong leadership skills and qualities which enable candidate to network, lead within the organization and influence associates for goal and results alignment
  • Ability to interact and negotiate effectively with executive management, peer managers, and technical staff
  • Ability to articulate technical and business issues and solutions effectively to business or technical staff across organizational layers
  • Experience in data collection, aggregation and syndication services is preferred
  • Preference for experience with SOC audits, technology and data security policies and controls, and/or risk management practices related to data and information security. 
  • A combination of strategic thinking and the ability to drive change through successful execution
  • Proven capability to lead collaborative efforts to generate ideas and raise and resolve issues while maintaining momentum
  • Passion for producing quality deliverables using defined and repeatable processes
  • Experience in control and/or issues management
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Certification in Project Management preferred.
