The Client Technical Analyst FR Support Region is responsible for providing level 1 technical and troubleshooting support via telephone, web chats, and electronic communications to CDK automotive retail application users in both English and French. This position supports our Accounting & Payroll Software Applications. You will learn and apply technical and industry knowledge to a variety of questions and problems faced by our clients. You will be expected to use outstanding customer service skills to negotiate priorities and callback expectations with the client. You will be responsible for using CDK support tools to address and resolve client issues in a timely manner.

Successful candidates are comfortable working with computers and working in a fast paced, innovative environment. Must possess excellent typing (45 wpm+ with high accuracy) and phone communication skills and have some background in customer service. Successful candidates will also be able to analyze and troubleshoot technical and mechanical problems and explain resolutions to non-technical users. Most importantly, qualified candidates must be committed to excellent customer service in all aspects of the role including:

  • Answering inquiries from clients promptly and accurately, researching, troubleshooting, documenting and escalating to other departments as required in both French and English.
  • Observing and assisting other internal client support and implementation departments to gain working knowledge of product, department procedure and dealership knowledge
  • Initiating and submitting any critical client needs, and fielding visit requests, program bugs, special program requests and product change requests to management for review
  • Modifying documents and coordinating implementation of appropriate customer support procedures
  • Maintaining and providing support for other staff functions on special projects as needed
  • Completing personal and departmental assigned goals

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree
  • Superb client service orientation
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills in both French and English (full fluency is required)
  • Ability to lean and apply technical and industry-specific information to application troubleshooting
  • Aptitude to identify problems, research and analyze the situation, and make appropriate recommendations/decisions
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with great attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to listen, think, and type at the same time
  • Must be a self-starter and have the ability to prioritize workload within an assigned schedule
  • PC knowledge with the ability to efficiently maneuver in a Windows environment

This position will work various 8 hour shifts between 7:00AM - 10:00PM EST /Some Saturdays/Holidays required

 

Preferred but not required:

Knowledge of Microsoft O/S and PC hardware, Microsoft Printing, Active X controls, and Mobile devices (Smartphones/iPads)

Experience using a ticketing System such as Clarify, Remedy, or Footprints

Certification and Methodology knowledge: Project Management, Agile, and Lean Six Sigma.

Automotive Industry/Dealership experience, knowledge of dealership roles, practices, and culture highly valued.

Accounting and Payroll training/experience highly preferred!
