The Learning Experience Design Manager will have responsibility for the management of a team of Instructional Designers who develop training materials for CDK Customers and internal CDK audiences. CDK Learning & Performance is doing significant transformational work to evolve into a world-class training organization well-positioned to deliver on our mission "To be a best-in-class, customer-obsessed learning organization which provides results-driven, innovative learning experiences 
that lead to success for CDK and our customers." We are looking for an experienced, passionate Learning Design Manager to help us reach that goal.
Experience and Qualifications
•    Demonstrated ability to lead teams of Instructional Designers, providing them with direction, support, and career development.
•    Deep experience with and knowledge of current design-thinking, instructional design, and curriculum design approaches.
•    Strong business acumen and experience designing learning experiences for customers and internal audiences.
•    Proven track record of creating successful learning courses and programs for adult learners.
•    Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and change to improve efficiencies and the effectiveness of learning solutions.
•    Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior leaders, business partners, stakeholders, internal customers, and colleagues to create learning solutions that drive business results.
•    Lead a team of Instructional Designers and content developers focused on learning content design for multiple modalities (such as eLearning, instructor-led, virtual).
•    Allocate resources to effectively and appropriately delegate design initiatives, and provide tactical support to prioritization efforts when demand exceeds the available capacity to meet business objectives.
•    Determine the scope, requirements, and timeline for projects.
•    Define and execute quality assurance processes to drive quality for content and programs.
•    Set up and conducts pilot testing to identify needed revisions to instructional materials.
•    Demonstrate expertise in using authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate.
•    Provide instructional, curriculum, and technical design consulting services to subject matter experts.
•    Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize responsibilities, and identify process improvements.
•    Use data and analytics to understand learner behavior, ensure programs are effective and drive continuous improvement in the learning solution.

Ability to move fast and keep up with the pace of our business and industry, prioritizing the most important work and understanding the importance of consistent processes to help drive efficiency with quality.
•    8+ years of experience in curriculum development and/or Learning & Development in a complex environment, preferably in a technology organization.
•    3+ years leading teams of content developers.
•    Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Corporate Training, Human Resource Development or other related field preferred
•    Proficient with eLearning authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate
•    Preferred proficiency with Jira Project Management software.
