The Manager of Learning Programs & Strategy will lead a team of Learning Program Strategists and Learning Program Managers who are responsible for developing and executing learning roadmaps and programs for CDK customers and internal CDK audiences. CDK Learning & Performance is doing significant transformational work to evolve into a world-class training organization well-positioned to deliver on our mission "To be a best-in-class, customer-obsessed learning organization which provides results-driven, innovative learning experiences that lead to success for CDK and our customers." We are looking for an experienced and passionate Manager to help us reach that goal. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Learning & Performance.

 

Experience and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams of Program or Project Managers, providing them with direction, support, and career development.
  • Strong business acumen and experience designing learning programs for customers and internal audiences.
  • Proven track record of creating successful learning courses and programs for adult learners.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and change to improve efficiencies and the effectiveness of learning solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior leaders, business partners, stakeholders, internal customers, and colleagues to create learning solutions that drive business results.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Programs Managers focused on identifying and validating both strategic and tactical learning needs for assigned audiences.
  • Develop strategic plans and learning roadmaps to achieve knowledge or business goals.
  • Define success metrics, and provides reporting and analysis on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis regarding the performance of programs, content, and execution for the department initiatives and strategies.
  • Conduct regular Learning Roadmap reviews with key leaders and stakeholders.
  • Allocate resources to effectively and appropriately delegate program management initiatives, and provide tactical support to prioritization efforts when demand exceeds the available capacity to meet business objectives.
  • Determine the scope, requirements, and timeline for projects and programs.
  • Define and execute quality assurance processes to drive quality for content and programs.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize responsibilities, and identify process improvements.
  • Use data and analytics to understand learner behavior, ensure programs are effective, and drive continuous improvement in the learning solution.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in learning leadership, learning consulting, and/or learning program management in a complex environment, preferably in a technology organization.
  • 3+ years leading teams of project and/or program managers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Corporate Training, Human Resource Development, or other related field preferred.
  • Formal project management experience preferred.
  • Preferred proficiency with Jira Project Management software.
