Position Summary

Reporting to the Director, Operations and Compliance the Technical Writer will partner with peers such as Region Support Specialist, Manager, Customer Support, and Product Managers to maintain and develop technical documents and manuals, explain complex information in a clear and concise manner for both internal and external customers with less technical aptitude.

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

  • Research and edit existing knowledge base content, working closely with Region Support Specialist to ensure trouble shooting steps are accurate, clear and concise
  • Research, outline, write, and edit new knowledge base content as new software releases take place
  • Convert internal knowledge base content to be client facing content so clients can trouble shot technical issues independently
  • Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write product release notes
  • Review Monthly Reporting to ensure top knowledge base articles are enhanced to meet new company standards
  • Coordinate with Manager, Customer Support to ensure knowledge base content gaps are addressed


Qualifications & Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field
  • 2-4 years’ industry experience as an effective technical writer
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
  • Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization
  • Understanding of the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Expert level experience using Microsoft Office tools to create documentation
