Contribute to the full life cycle of software products for the Elead Call Center and Elead CRM Applications.  This position requires analysis, design, and documentation of a wide variety of software systems and components. The product manager is responsible for the success of the product on behalf of the company. The product manager understands the user and customer needs and the business goals, and collaborates with the development team and the stakeholders (product management). The product manager must be a team player who relies on close collaboration with the other team members. 

 

Basic Function

  • Assist in shaping the individual product requirements in support of an existing product strategy for the Elead Call Center and Elead CRM Applications.
  • Accountable for assisting in driving the full product lifecycle from ideation to end-to-end of life. Responsible for relevant, specific product feature requirements.
  • Ensures that user personas & product requirements are defined and reflected in user stories based on features created in cooridination with the Manager, Product Managment and Product Director.
  • Working with Scrum Master and agile team on backlog grooming and ensures that timely decision making on product requirement trade-offs.

 

Essential Functions

  • Engages and aligns with the product management to achieve product delivery plans.
  • Translate defined product vision & features into user stories (based on feedback from auto dealers & analysis of user & Elead Call Center business line leaders) to deliver differentiated customer outcomes.
  • Manage the backlog for sprint teams, partnering with R&D/scrum master in prioritization of user backlog, supporting full lifecycle from definition, beta, showcase, & retrospective.
  • Work with other CDK product management and product marketing to articulate the value proposition for user stories & features.
  • Understand the key product success metrics (e.g. adoption, profitability, NPS, market share growth) & how they relate to user stories/features.
  • Invest in gaining functional expertise & SME through training, partnering with more experienced CDK product managers.

 

Leadership

  • Leads product requirements, works daily with agile team & define user stories.
  • Acts as a SME for the Elead Call Center for internal teams including Account Management, Sales, and Support.

 

Required Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience 
  • 2+ years of Product Owner or Product Management and/or equivalent experience in Enterprise SaaS, full lifecycle management.  
  • Experince in Call Centers and Automotive CRM Applications.
  • Experience in Agile software/DevOps methodologies & working with globally distributed teams.
  • Experience in creating user stories, working with R&D & other product managers to drive end-to-end execution of product releases.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills. Experience is facilitating customer communications.
  • Ability to listen & consider the points of view of others, collaborate & build consensus with cross-functional areas.
  • Strong technical aptitude, can work with R&D to translate business requirements into actionable user stories.
  • Strong track record of product execution in dynamic environment.
  • Limited travel.
