The BI Consultant analyzes and optimizes multi-tier, multi-channel digital marketing programs in the automotive industry.  A successful consultant thinks strategically about business goals and has a strong command of both digital advertising and web analytics in order to measure progress towards them. A consultant will work to translate a complex client request into a data driven, actionable story for partners. This individual should be comfortable at analyzing and visualizing data using various tools as well as giving a formal presentation to clients.

 

This position does not offer relcoation assistance and/or visa sponsorship/transfers.

 

Essential Functions:

 . Manage clients’ analytics and reporting needs

 . Define measurement strategy

 . Work with stakeholders to provide strategic advice and deliver a measurable difference

 . Consult with clients to help define digital strategies                                                                                    

 . Act as liaison and translate client ask to internal analytics and Product teams

 . Identify data requirements to support measurement strategy/framework, defining KPI’s based on business / marketing objectives.

 . Create customized, high-quality reporting that will be consumed by executives

 . Analyze large volume of data to find actionable insights and tell a story that drives revenue, product, and/or business decisions.

 

Qualifications:

 . 3+ years of experience with web analytics – Need to have data analysis and measurement experience related to web analytics

 . 2+ years of experience with digital advertising

 . Auto industry and/or agency experience a plus

 

Desired Skills:

 . High working competency with an industry level analytics tool such as Omniture, Webtrends, Google Analytics, etc.

 . Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

 . Experience analyzing digital data including website metrics and online advertising performance    

 . Strong experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Microstrategy

 . Extensive client management skills

 . Technical level of analytic tool is a plus – Tagging specs, implementation, tag management, etc.

 . Strong work ethic, including personal initiative and ownership

 . Experience managing and prioritizing multiple complex projects to tight timelines

 . Demonstrated ability to learn and acquire new technologies as needed

 

Education:

 . BA/BS in a business or technical field is desired

 . MS in a technical field or an MBA a major plus
