The Country Marketing Manager is responsible for designing and delivering the marketing plan for a specified country or region, in line with achieving CDK Global business objectives. The marketing plan will include both the launch of central and local products, as well as general marketing activities such as event management, PR, campaign management, procuring customer testimonials and improving marketing database quality. This is a standalone in-country marketing role with central support.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Plan and implement the regional marketing plan, in accordance with regional business and and greenspace/whitespace targets.
  • Develop regional brand awareness through the strategic use of PR and events
  • Develop relationships with regional media to increase coverage of CDK and source opportunities for senior management press commentaries.
  • Develop local keynote speeches that can be used by senior managers representing CDK at local trade or “CDK own” events.
  • In conjunction with the Central team, manage regional events to create a great brand experience that communicates CDK’s brand message and have a clear lead generation follow up plan.
  • To ensure a successful local launch of both central and local products, manage the Sales and Marketing readiness of the CDK PLC process for your region.
  • Execute integrated marketing campaigns through a variety of channels, such as Email, Telemarketing and Direct Mail. Clearly measure results.
  • Maintain and update local websites
  • In conjunction with regional sales teams, work proactively to enhance the customer and prospect databases.
  • In conjunction with regional sales teams, proactively seek case study opportunities and work with the central teams to create local video testimonials.
  • Proactively work with other departments such as training and support, to identify where Marketing can enhance the communication experience our customers receive in these areas.
  • Work with the central team to recommend and implement improvements.
  • Manage the local marketing budget

 

Skills / Knowledge & Experience

  • 3+ years experience in B2B marketing planning and communications
  • Proficient in Saleforce CRM, Marketing Automation systems (Pardot) and modern B2B marketing techniques
  • Experience in planning and executing events (both industry trade shows and company led)
  • Experience in developing a local PR strategy or managing a PR agency
  • Experience in updating website content
  • Native German Language Skills – Advanced writing skills
  • Fluency in English
  • A strong communicator with good presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders to deliver a business objective.
  • Experience in marketing budget management
  • Experience of marketing measurement techniques and KPI’s.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Digital marketing experience is an advantage
  • A degree or third level professional marketing qualification
