Create business relationships in CDK & Competitive Accounts in a large geographic area via phone presentations to sell OEM specific initiatives and Payroll Products.   Work in conjunction with all of your channel partners to increase sales opportunities.  Achieve annual assigned sales plan, working under guidance of the Inside Sales Manager and VP of Inside Sales.   Excellent sales skills with a high level of proficiency in communications needed.   Entry level sales position with 1 year + of sales experience preferred.


What to expect in this role

At a minimum, plan daily calls and presentations to all clients in your territory.  Utilize Sales Automation tools to define current application and opportunities.  Work through targeted campaigns and collaborate with baseline field reps to identify prospects.  Present initiatives and layered products to clients including functions, features, benefits and competitive advantages.  Execute sales strategy to systematically and consistently engage in sales processes in these identified accounts and bring sales processes to successful closure.  Minimally achieve your annual assigned QC Sales Plan.  Utilize all resources at your disposal with particular emphasis on the inclusion of all Channel partners and Inside Management.  Utilize and the sales automation tools to effectively manage a robust pipeline and provide accurate weekly forecasting to your Director of Sales.   Communicate daily with channel partners and participate in all team meetings and conference calls.


Results Expected

The successful Employee Sale territory should reflect:

  • Increased Share of Wallet within the account, measured by your results
  • Increased product penetration and revenues, measured by Penetration Reports
  • Increase sales of OEM Products and Payroll measured by Key Metrics

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 1+ experience in a lead generation/sales scenario, with consistent, daily outbound dialing or similar experience
  • Advanced time management skills.
  • Microsoft Office Skills, specifically Outlook Tasks and Calendar scheduling.


The ideal candidate will possess

  • Strong skills in keeping/maintaining comprehensive and accurate notes in the CRM system
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills
  • The ability to sell, negotiate, persuade and influence
  • Sales Certification in Sales – completed training programs such as Sandler Sales Systems or Miller Heiman are ideal, but not required


We seek individuals with the ability to demonstrate time management, telephone sales skills and knowledge of CDK products and services (training provided). A goal-oriented individual with superior communication skills and the ability to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment is ideal. The demonstrated ability to communicate using technical concepts is required. Successful candidates will have the ability to use innovative sales approaches to challenge and influence the prospect to consider CDK Solutions. The desire for a long-term career in sales preferred, as many opportunities await you with success in this role.
