Plans and directs the overall design, implementation, communication, and administration of the CDK’s US and international health and welfare and financial benefits programs. Ensures that programs adhere to current and local regulations and support the organization's strategic objectives. Evaluates current programs to ensure compliance with individual local governmental regulations and competitiveness with other organizations.

 

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

  • Plans and directs the overall design, implementation, communication, and administration of the CDK’s global health and welfare and financial benefits programs.
  • Develop and continually advance global benefits strategies and programs to align with business strategy and ensure the right mix and offerings are available to attract and retain an innovative, high caliber workforce around the world. These include health, welfare, wellness, retirement.
  • Ensure that CDK is in compliance with all benefit laws and regulations including global work counsel requirements and processes.
  • Manage and negotiate with brokers and third party solution providers. ​​​
  • Support Mergers & Acquisition (M&A) activities as they relate to global benefits
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for global benefits programs
  • Develop and lead the process for all global benefits related requests for proposals/negotiation with vendors of health, dental, life insurance, etc.
  • Act as the primary contact with domestic benefits broker on all benefit issues, including monthly and annual review of health benefits, costing, and plan design changes to ensure the highest level of client service and satisfaction.
  • Partner with benefits consultant in reviewing global benefit plan design changes
  • Support the audit process for all global benefit plans
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert and point of escalation global benefit plan matters

     

Qualifications & Job Requirements

  • 10 years experience in administering and managing domestic benefits plans (e.g., medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits)
  • 5 years experience in administering and managing international benefits plans
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related degree
  • Knowledge of international work counsels and global benefit laws
  • Excellent cross cultural communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information
  • Analytical and presentation skills
