The Director of Global Talent Acquisition will play a critical leadership role in executing CDK’s talent strategies as we continue to drive current and next generation growth and technology. This leader will develop and execute a strategic approach to talent attraction and hiring across the globe in support of the organization’s mission. This role will be responsible for enhancing global talent acquisition processes and integrating with broader talent strategies to lead a data driven and future focused talent acquisition function.

 

This role will oversee both the North America and International Talent Acquisition functions (international team is based out of the UK) and reporting directly to the VP Global Talent. In partnership with key business leaders and HR COEs (business partners, compensation/benefits, HR ops), she/he will develop short-term and long-term talent acquisition strategies to meet the needs of the business while evolving the function and capabilities for future business needs. She/he will be accountable for delivering against shared goals such as tech modernization, data & analytics, inclusion & diversity, and values integration.

 

This individual must be passionate about doing more than the status quo, with a passion for understanding business needs and addressing those needs in thoughtful and meaningful talent acquisition strategies. Key Duties & Responsibilities

Lead a global talent acquisition function equipped to deliver against organizational talent strategies today and in the future aligned with business growth expectations.
   a. Globalize talent acquisition to create and maintain consistencies and efficiencies across the globe in talent attraction and hiring practices.
   b. Strategically partner with internal and/or external resources to enhance or deploy employer brand strategies to attract diverse talent and reinforce CDK brand awareness for both technical and non-technical roles and candidates.
   c. Partner with key stakeholders internally and/or externally to build and deploy the formalization of a CDK EVP.
   d. Oversee the progression of the campus intern program to enrich the impact of early career talent pipelines into critical organizational roles.
   e. Lead with a future focused, data driven, innovative mindset to position talent acquisition for success and Create Possibilities for the evolution of TA at CDK.
   f. Coach, develop and strengthen the capabilities of our recruiters and hiring managers to attract, source, and hire talent in ways that support our anticipated talent needs.

Partner closely with HR, Business Leaders, and Business Partners to foster strong relationships with HRBPs/COEs and key business leaders.
   a. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with HR COEs, HR leadership, and business leaders; seek to understand how the business functions and how this function can better enable success.
   b. Be Open to feedback and new ways of working that meaningfully integrate TA with the business.
   c. Stay Curious and seek to understand the employee experience and business operations to assess and execute strategies to strengthen the relationship with TA in effort to improve the candidate and hiring manager experience.
   d. Own It and demonstrate accountability to colleagues, customers, and partners regularly to address concerns or needs.

Optimize processes, tools and resources to leverage data and technology in ways that accelerate key talent strategies.
   a. Enhance tools and processes to maniacally focus on delivering a superb candidate experience.
   b. Optimize ATS process design and implementation to streamline recruiting operationalization and improve candidate, recruiter, and hiring manager experiences.
   c. Leverage data and insights to deliver effectively against key TA metrics, strengthen HR and business relationships, and fortify the talent acquisition brand at CDK.
   d. Complete RFP for recruitment marketing strategy partners and elevate our ability to attract top talent.

 

Qualifications required

  • BA/BS required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years experience in full lifecycle and global Talent Acquisition position(s).
  • Experience leading Talent Acquisition teams in technology and/or growth organizations with demonstration of success.
  • Strong business acumen, HR acumen.
  • Strong business partnering and influencing skills.
  • Strong people leadership capabilities and talent development mindset.
  • Strong operational execution skills; ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously and execute on time and with quality.
  • Must demonstrate our organizational values in your leadership style: Stay Curious, Own It, Be Open, Create Possibilities
  • Possesses a data centric mindset with the ability to leverage insights to make decisions and manage metrics, with strong presentation and communication skills as well as executive presence.
  • Experience successfully partnering with external agencies, providers, suppliers, and firms.
  • P&L experience.
  • Strong project management and process management skills.

 

Desirable:

  • Experience leveraging various ATS platforms including SuccessFactors and cloud based ATS platforms; experience with ATS implementations a plus.
  • Experience implementing intentional D&I strategies within Talent Acquisition
  • Ability to successfully manage contingent workforce partners and various recruiting model partners.
