Position Summary

The HR Data and Reporting Specialist  is responsible for supporting Human Resources through strategic and ad hoc data analyses and reporting by leveraging analytics tools to provide meaningful and actionable insights in multiple HR areas, including Turnover, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning and Development, Compensation, and others. The role will be responsible for creating and distributing ad hoc, and standard reports.  Position will perform data analysis, validation, develop scorecards/dashboards, and identify insights to inform business strategy and supportive action planning.


Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

  • Pull and distribute ad hoc, weekly, monthly, or quarterly reports
  • Build new or modify existing dashboards
  • Prepare HR metrics to be presented at monthly, quarterly, and annual senior leadership meetings
  • Consults with the HR department teams to evaluate their needs in order to provide metrics that drive business decisions
  • Identify reporting and analysis problems and work with key constituents (HR management, HRIS) to resolve them, helping to ensure accountability.
  • Consult and work closely with stakeholders, including HRIS team members, to ensure all requirements have been accurately addressed and documented


Qualifications & Job Requirements

  • Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Reliability and ability to maintain confidentially
  • High level of customer focus and support
  • Experience working with HR/organizational people data (e.g. headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics, and other people analytics)
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • 5+ years of HR Generalist knowledge, Finance, and/or Reporting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, finance, business, statistics, or a related field
  • Strong Excel (Pivots, V-Lookups, Graphs/Charts) and reporting skills
  • Ability to present data in a logical, concise manner
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate analytics to a non-technical audience



  • Experience with SuccessFactors
  • Experience working with Tableau
  • Familiarity with SQL
