Lead and develop a team of Implementation professionals within North America and Canada. Travel as needed up to 25% 


The implementation team consults and implements dealership personnel on CDK applications via virtual methods to maximize the dealership's efficiency, profits, sales, productivity and revenue.  Responsible for implementation quality and completion

  • Train, develop, evaluate individuals and group Implementation Professionals skills and processes
  • Develop and coach a hybrid Implementation Professional team, sharing technical knowledge from the virtual implementation perspective.


    The primary focus of this position is to lead a cross-functional team of Virtual Implementation Professionals to perform implementation activities for CDK Global product to dealership sites.

  • Strong attention to associate development, performance assessment, and driving installation standards in order to enable staff to deliver with excellence to maximize the dealership's efficiency, profits, sales, productivity and revenue


    Leadership (Soft Skills/Technical Skills)

  • Meet with each associate to Identifying skill level gaps and strengths
  • Collaborate with Associate Training to develop programs to meet associate needs
  • Schedule and oversee training programs for new and existing associates
  • Build Individual Development Plans (IDP) and conduct ongoing (quarterly) feedback sessions to insure progress
  • Identify future leaders and create appropriate development plans to insure bench strength


    Establish a partnering relationship with Regional Management in order to stay abreast of the changing business climate. Complies with the company's vision, fundamentals, policies and procedures.


    Assist in establishing and drive deployment of installation standards throughout the organization.


    Create performance templates in TMS for each associate and communicate goals at beginning of performance year, discuss performance during one-on-ones (quarterly). Deliver annual performance review. Utilize the Associate Assessment Project Survey to gather feedback on associate performance. Create a plan to evaluate each Implementation Consultant on a regular basis.


    Monitors expenditures, approves merit increases, performs succession planning, controls expenses and maintain accurate records.

  • Facilitates meetings, mediates conflicts, formats documents, and organizes materials. Generates new ideas for processes and strategies.
  • 3 - 8 plus years’ experience leading a team with emphasis in a implementation environment
  • Strong customer service background required.
