Position Summary

The Price Increase Analyst position will serve as the primary analytical resource providing financial support and modeling for all North America price increase initiatives within the CDK Global North American Core business.  The Price Increase Analyst is responsible for processing the monthly price increase, advanced analysis and price increase recommendations to maximize revenue and profit for CDK Global’s products and services.  Incumbents will be proficient in working with large amounts of data and presenting findings to Senior Leadership. 


Position Responsibilities & Essential Functions

  • Lead the anniversary price increase process and execution while maintaining attention to strict timelines
  • Work with large amounts of data from multiple sources. Develop and enhance modeling to provide quick turnaround of analyses and utilize findings to find opportunities for business and process improvement
  • Develop business requirements for price increase programming improvements and/or process changes. Work with programmers to test and implement new programming
  • Create and maintain price increase plan tables and track requested exclusions and limitations
  • Partner with the VP of Pricing and Commercialization to create line level price increase plan targets by client. Balance targets against potential losses and renewals
  • Conduct monthly variance analyses, provide KPIs and identify risks and opportunities
  • Lead or contribute to special/ad-hoc internal projects as appropriate. The analyst needs to balance multiple projects, be results oriented, and drive projects to completion according to timelines in a team environment
  • Show initiative, have a "can-do" attitude and be interested in learning the price increase process and associated skills to make a significant contribution. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required as the analyst will work across multiple functions inside CDK and will have executive level exposure


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related discipline and prior Financial Analyst experience (2 plus years)
  • Proficient in Alteryx, Cognos, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Displays independent decision making and accountability
  • Able to present to all levels of the organization
  • Must be analytical and comfortable with working with large amounts of data from multiple sources
  • Able to develop advanced spreadsheet models, charts, graphs, and develop key performance indicators (KPI’s) to track price increase effectiveness
  • Position required to work Central Standard Time
