The RPA Centre of Excellence is a key enabler of the CDK Transformation Strategy. It will deliver the design, implementation and deployment of process automation through available Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology as well as ensuring regular control of the process execution.
The RPA Analyst will report to the RPA Director, and will create and maintain automation (routines/programs) solutions, which will include collecting requirements, designing, documenting, developing, implementing, and maintaining automations/robots, in a professional consultative project delivery environment. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a busy and dynamic environment with competing priorities.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify automation opportunities by analyzing and documenting processes; assessing feasibility for automation
  • Direct meetings, interviews, and workshops designed gather requirements and design solutions
  • Design, develop, and test solutions to automate processes, activities, and tasks through RPA using programming languages and available platforms to deliver operations efficiencies
  • Document technical designs, release notes, and other project documentation to support development, security, operations, and maintenance
  • Create and document test procedures and scenarios prior to launching
  • Participate in QA testing activities, including testing at the task and end-to-end process levels, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Communicate to colleagues or customers during the product development to make sure it fits design
  • Support business teams in testing activities, including integration testing, end-to-end (business process) testing and UAT
  • Work collaboratively with operational and technical teams to deliver projects by assigned deadlines
  • Help develop standards and best practices for RPA including governance, operating model and solutions
  • Deploy projects successfully and problem-solve issues that arise in day-to-day running of automation processes and provide timely responses and solutions as required


Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, Engineering, or related fields
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in RPA 
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in software developing or testing software solutions
  • Programming or development experience (Java, .Net, C#, Visual Basic,, etc.) preferably on automation and/or integration projects
  • Blue Prism Certification preferred
  • Prior functional experience in SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile development methodologies including requirements, design, development, testing, documentation, training, deployment, operations, support and maintenance
  • Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problems
  • Ability to understand and create business process workflow diagrams or procedural documentation
  • Exposure to performance measurement and continuous improvement methodologies like Lean or Six-Sigma, preferred
  • Excellent, proactive problem solver, strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex requirements and define technical/functional advanced solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written & verbal English (and have worked in global/multicultural environment). Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders as part of the RPA delivery cycle.
