Position Summary

The Senior Manager Projects, Quote to Cash , is responsible for helping to carry out the strategic vision for NA Quote to Cash (Q2C) team working closely with US and India Q2C and Controllership Organization. This role will lead significant Q2C transformation, projects and automation.


Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

  • Driving process transformation roadmap, defining and implementing strategic initiatives
  • Partner with Ops leader to transform the organization from focus to conventional to focused on best- in class
  • Guide, direct, monitor and coordinate various projects and initiatives like standardization, metrication, automation, transitions and integration.
  • Support growth by defining processes for new products and strategic initiatives and helping operations team to make it scalable
  • Work with multi-functional teams and represent finance shared services
  • Develops a strong cadence with business stakeholders and project teams to consistently evaluate the performance against targets, service levels, and makes appropriate adjustments to meet the requirements of the business
  • Partners with Sales, Implementation, and Business Transformation teams to identify and implement process and system improvements, driving continuous improvement as well as proactive response to ever changing business and industry needs
  • Ensures strong process controls and no risks/significant observations during Audits (Sox, Internal Audit, External Audit)
  • Proactively identifies\ opportunities for continuous improvement and successfully manages these projects to contribute to the effectiveness of Q2C processes using lean six-sigma tools
  • Travel 10-15%

Qualifications & Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience including experience in process improvements
  • Previous relevant experience with full ownership of end-to-end processes
  • Expert knowledge of standard processes in  quote to cash, ability to drive standardization and process efficiencies
  • Experience in establishing operating framework through technology, MIS and governance to monitor response time and quality to response to queries and escalation from the business
  • Action and results oriented , self-driven person with high energy level , analytical and structured, quality focused and adaptable
  • Solid team player who thrives on working on fast paced environment and accustomed to driving outcomes in matrixed organization structures.

  • Flexibility to work in multiple time zones
  • Ability to multi-task and manage numerous simultaneous priorities


Preferred Attributes & Qualifications

  • Six Sigma /Lean
  • Knowledge of large ERP system (i.e. Oracle, SAP, etc.)
