Purpose of role 

Lead, develop and manage the go-to-market strategy and resulting incremental revenue streams for CDKi’s indirect channels – new geographical distributors and optimizing operations in existing geographies.  Working collaboratively with the existing functions and regional teams the role will consolidate customer requirements to define the appropriate solutions and commercial models for the distributor network, constantly evaluating opportunities and prioritising to define a clear road map. The role will work in partnership with our existing business where CDK already has a presence and build appropriate channel capability where we don't.   


Key Duties & Responsibilities

•    Define, agree and manage delivery of distributor’s targets, including sufficient quality and quantity of distributor sales, sales pipeline and right positioning of the products and CDK brand in their markets
•    Deliver on indirect channels targets in line with business objectives
•    Regularly monitor and ensure delivery of CDK’s commitments to distributors and their customer’s commitments
•    Drive focus, action planning and delivery of the distributors channel to increase market penetration and wallet share in respective markets and accounts
•    Lead activity to develop a solution propositions suitable for indirect channels
•    Build a commercial model adapted to growing the distributor network
•    Planning and delivery of business plans, as agreed with senior management on indirect channels, including financial performance and P&L management.
•    Revenue Target Ownership for Indirect Channels


Attributes that successful candidates will need to demonstrate are:

•    Have in-depth knowledge of both commercial & technical aspects of the Sector and CDK Products, being able to handle both the Technical and      Commercial aspects of business supports to CDK distributor’s network
•    Self-starters that are comfortable working in an ambiguous and matrixed environment 
•    Experience of managing and growing Indirect Channels P&L
•    Product development and management experience 
•    Demonstrable experience of driving business growth and revenue delivery through the creating and embedding of a partnership model 
•    A strong command of emerging consumer and technology trends that are disrupting traditional retail models
•    Exceptional client management skills – particularly when repositioning an organisation into a new sphere
•    Experience of working with third parties and collaborative commercial relationships
•    Strong verbal, written and listening communications skills. Strong presentation skills.
•    Strong technical aptitude.
•    Automotive industry experience is a bonus
