Summary:

 

Working as part of the Desktop Engineering team, the Desktop Collaboration role will be responsible for running, maintaining and administering collaboration platforms and all related systems, processes, patching and maintenance. The Desktop Engineering team is also responsible for managing and resolving escalations from T1 and T2 end-user support teams.

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Zoom Video Conferencing
    • All items related to corporate Zoom Video Conferencing
  • Slack Collaboration Administration
    • Manage the Slack implementation, including Admin tasks related to channels, groups and application
  • Troubleshooting/T3 escalations
  • Resolving issues that are widespread among the Windows population
  • Support BU maintenance of updates, security patches and certificates in order to maintain a secure service
  • Maintain the lifecycle functions from deployments to retirement of devices
  • Provide consultancy for T2 staff on both projects and operational matters
  • Mentor and increase the knowledge of other engineering staff
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows fundamentals including networking, command line, security, and file system management
  • Familiarity with concepts relating to creation and deployment of certificates
