Purpose of role

 

Working as part of our International training department you will offered the opportunity to learn from and work alongside experienced Digital Learning Designers who develop and maintain digital learning content for our International software products. You will by guided and immersed in all stages of the design process including analysis of needs, storyboarding, user interface, user experience design, content creation, graphic design, project coordination and delivery technologies whilst working to CDK’s quality and standards policies.

The role will involve being part of a visionary and innovative team who are keen to share their knowledge, however we are looking for someone to also add some fresh new ideas.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop your personal and team working skills working as part of our existing team
  • Learn by working on projects with the existing team on all stages of the learning and development lifecycle
  • Explore New tools and use of technology for the delivery and development of digital learning materials
  • Work alongside our Project Coordinator to aid in the planning and management of varied projects
  • Work on small projects with assigned mentor in order to learn and demonstrate capability and competence in all areas of the learning development lifecycle
  • Learn about the importance of quality and right first time by supporting existing materials and ensuring they meet the CDK quality standards
  • Explore existing tools and technologies in order to learn, A/V production, software simulation, testing and assessment, mobile and pc based delivery and more
  • Work with mentor in order to build knowledge and confidence in delivering the CDK subject matter expert (SME) 1 day training session in order to teach SME’s how to capture tasks inside our recording tools
  • Any other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of the role

Skills / Knowledge & Experience

 

  • Motivated and able to communication well in verbal/written English.
  • Good computer skills – Windows / Microsoft Office / Internet Browsers / Email.
  • Good organisational skills and punctuality.

 

 

Qualifications

Essential

  • Educational qualifications 

Educated to a GCSE level as a minimum. Including 5 at Grade C or above including Math’s and En
