Purpose of role 

To provide technical pre sales consultancy, primarily in the UK, but supporting the overall CDKi Partner Programme.


Key Duties & Responsibilities 

•    Support Partner Account Managers and direct Account Managers with integration opportunities using CDKI Open Platform APIs.
•    Assist when required to help qualify Partner opportunities across active markets.
•    Work with prospective Partners and Dealers to provide necessary technical sales support before they sign agreements and begin their Certification. 
•    Act as the liaison for technical queries from Partners including Dealers in the Dealer Programme, escalating to the product and engineering teams where necessary. 
•    Be a SME for API implementation and API behaviour. Attend meetings (on-site/video) with Dealer’s IT and Partner developers to discuss/demo how APIs work. 
•    Collaborate with the Technical On-boarding Consultant to set up Dealer’s application in Apigee and Stage API Gateway to provide access from their UAT. 
•    Where appropriate, work with the Partner Account Manager or Direct Account Manager to bring a Partner or Dealer’s requirement not currently available to the attention of the relevant local Product Marketing team.
•    Work closely with Certification Manager and On-boarding Consultant to handover pre-sales documentation prior to entering certification.
•    Be the point of contact for API implementation queries, Insight sessions, and Sales team updates. Assist with API Middleware setup and occasional debug of issues.
•    Provide technical support to help with Partner qualification across active markets within International for large opportunities and those requiring a consistent approach in multiple markets. 
•    Work closely with the Enterprise Solution Architect to align on potential future solutions and agree best fit for the Partner Programme. 

 

Skills / Knowledge & Experience

•    Good understanding and knowledge of how API’s work.
•    In an ever changing technical environment must be able to learn quickly and adapt to advances in API technology.
•    Good knowledge of DMS.
•    Highly self-motivated and be able to work at all levels internally and externally.
•    Adept in actively managing multiple opportunities across different programmes.
•    Consultative approach to understanding and articulating business problems. 
•    Commercially aware of SaaS models.
