The Global Dealer IT Business Operations Team is responsible for managing all aspects of our vendor relationships.  The goal of the team is to maximize the benefits CDK realizes from partners and while ensuring that CDK does not pay more than required.  This includes but is not limited to: contract review, invoice audits, discount management, certification programs, incentive programs, licensing and maintenance tracking. The successful candidate will also be required to work with leaders in the Global Dealer IT organization to develop and maintain a framework for vendor management, prioritize the correct activities to achieve the business outcomes.

  • Strong analytical, organization, negotiation, and problem solving skills.
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to effectively handle critical situations and work with internal and external partners to solve issues.
  • Able to work in a matrix organization and influence decisions of personnel reporting to other leaders.


 Job Responsibilities: 

  • Developing and maintaining framework for managing vendor relationships. Working with business leaders to understand changes in business requirements, provide key vendor information, and change updates.
  • Taking lead role in various initiatives such as process and productivity improvement, new product introductions, tooling improvements, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Escalation point for resource conflicts, requests from vendors, and request from the business.
