Job Title:  Learning Experience Designer I (Member Technical)

Job Description:


Creates, edits, and produces training materials for classroom and/or computer-based delivery with the goal of increasing client performance, satisfaction and engagement.  Possesses an entry level understanding of CDK products, processes and/or skill sets, and strives to learn about dealership operations and our Industry.  Requires an understanding of how to use learning design software and how to apply learning development standards.

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions


  • Design engaging interactions and learning interventions that are focused on audience performance and engagement.
  • Develop learning outputs that are visually appealing, concise, and easy to understand.
  • Uses predeveloped story boards and scripts to create the final learning.
  • Takes direction and communicates well in a written format.  Has the ability to take written instruction and follow process exactly to produce learning. 
  • Use development tools such as Adobe Captivate, Photoshop, illustrator, Camtasia, MadCap Flare and Microsoft Office applications, and adapt to new software and learning techniques as needed.
  • Contribute to an agile work environment with rapid development and shifting priorities. 


Qualifications & Job Requirements


  • Graduate in any discipline from an acclaimed university, with certifications in multimedia designing tools
  • This position requires 1-2 years’ experience developing elearning or a BA/BS in Adult Education or related field. 
  • Intermediate level knowledge of learning development software, Adove Captivate
  • Business writing, reading and speaking U.S. English language.
  • Basic understanding of how to use Jira to manage workload and track working hours.
  • No travel required
  • Effective time management and to be available for meetings in North American timezones




  • Able to explain best practices around the learning development process.
  • Entry level knowledge of dealership operations and the automotive industry.
