As a software implementation consultant, your role will be to configure and deploy the systems they have bought, train their people in how to get the most from them, and ensure that we get them up & running with live software as efficiently & effectively as we can.

 

The focus here is on making the customer experience as good as it can be. It’s not enough simply to meet our contractual obligations.

 

On a daily basis you’ll be travelling to customer sites, providing advice in terms of best practice operational processes and systems usage practices to achieve best ROI for the selected product set that our clients have chosen.

 

You will establish the base software installation pack and configure the system to operate as expected & perform system integration testing to ensure the solution delivers what’s expected by the client.

You’ll be responsible for managing and executing data migration activities (if required) to ensure that existing customer data is imported, validated and signed off by the customer prior to go-live & using UAT you’ll ensure that the system is configured as our clients need it to be.

 

You’ll also provide adhoc follow up consultancy services to deliver ongoing advice and guidance to clients making minor system changes as required to tune the products for the client

 

To be considered for this position, you’ll need to have the following key skills and experience:

 

  • Knowledge of Accounting/Finance is a must as you will be working with the finance module of our system
  • Software implementation (ideally an ERP) experience
  • Excellent customer service focus
  • A flexible approach to travel – could be up for extended periods of time
  • Excellent communication skills
  • An ability to prioritise
  • A strong technical orientation
  • Fluent in English, French and Dutch

 

And, if you’ve got any of the following expertise, then even better:

 

  • Familiarity with how car dealership software is configured
  • Familiarity with the daily working practices of a car dealerships
