Position Summary

 

The CVR Region Director is responsible for directing all sales activities within the region.  These activities include marketing coordination, new account acquisition, new account implementation, and current client training, audit compliance, new services sales, and overall client retention activities.  He/ She is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization, as well as vendor and governmental relationships that optimize the sales process.  As the leader of region, the Region Director is expected to provide support to his/her team with forecasting, strategic planning, and reporting, as well as commission plan development and day-to-day activity planning and tracking. These activities include sales process optimization, sales training, product training, sales program implementation, and sales administration.  This position will lead a team of territory sales managers, account executives, and project coordination specialists.  Reporting to the Vice President & General Manager of CVR, this position will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are being met.

 

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

 

  • Establishing sales goals and tracking daily, weekly, and monthly metrics and KPI’s to insure such goals are achieved
  • Manage, track, and report on established expense budgets for travel, entertainment, and marketing
  • Manage and coordinate with R&D development team to insure product and system support and enhancements are occurring in accordance with client
  • Monitor accuracy and distribution of reports and other intelligence essential to the organization
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for sales process improvement
  • Communicate and cascade information to his/her region team related to progress against region, company, and CDK goals, results, and other information relevant to all employees
  • Planning and directing short-term and long-term sales and support team goals.
  • Insuring all employees are provided with performance goals and regular job

     

Qualifications & Job Requirements

 

  • 8+ years of leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA strongly preferred
  • Track record of leading larger scale business organizations and teams
  • Experience in sales and/or sales leadership
  • Experience developing and managing a professional staff, including the ability to cultivate a positive team atmosphere in order to drive success, and to multi-task and perform well under pressure and in a heavy-volume environment.
  • Track record of working through pipeline opportunities and challenges and converting those into high-impact programs to drive to revenue goals and plans.
  • Familiarity and expertise related to software, tools, and knowledge required to perform are appropriate
