CDK Lightspeed/Recreation develops, implements and supports innovative Dealer Management Software and data solutions that help increase lasting profitability across dealership operations for the Powersports, Marine, Marina and RV industries. We help dealers automate non-revenue generating activities, track operations and improve profits by assisting dealers manage their Parts, Service, Sales, Storage, Marina, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Rental. Our solutions are designed to help manage dealer operations by tracking and storing data from every department and delivering information that will assist dealerships in making successful business decisions. The dealer management solutions provided by ADP Lightspeed help the separate departments in a dealership function smoothly together by creating a central data warehouse for inventory levels, ordering, services and customer information.

Position Summary

We have an immediate opening available for a Lightspeed Account Manager. This is an outstanding entry-level Inside Sales role, with the opportunity to grow into an Outside Sales role, post training and development!  In this position, you will be responsible for generating Layered Application sales opportunities either through cold calls to existing customers or by fielding incoming calls. A significant about of time will be spent doing account management activities of a designated sales territory. 80% of this individual’s time will be spent on the phone either managing existing accounts or generating upgrade sales. Employee will achieve annual assigned sales plan, working under guidance of Sales Manager. Excellent sales skills with highly proficient communications skills. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound sales calls & make outbound sales calls to follow up on leads and further qualify the customer needs.
  • Account management of designated sales territory, including billing issues, support issues, hardware and software questions, working with billing & admin departments to resolve issues
  • Consult with existing customers to find out their business needs and how CDK’s products can help resolve or manage their business needs. 
  • Communicate with field sales reps on a regular basis and support them as needed.
  • Main responsibility will be to generate leads and sell smaller layered applications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Qualifications

  • 4 year college degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-year previous sales experience desired.
  • 1-year previous phone sales experience or other heavy phone work desired.
  • Knowledge of Motorcycle, RV and Marine industries a significant advantage
  • Knowledge of finance/insurance and technology industries a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills are needed.
  • Must be self-motivated, detail orientated and work well in a team environment
  • Must be proactive and open to learning and trying new sales techniques
  • PC literate with knowledge of Windows based applications and hardware:  Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Willingness to travel up to four times a year to tradeshows and dealerships
  • Type 35 + words per minute
