Position Summary

 

The Business Operations Analyst is to support OEM Enterprise Sales with creating standard reports and dashboards that represents OEM Sales revenue, pipeline and opportunity data.  They will assist with developing and rolling out Sales and Management tools, standard and ad hoc reporting and dashboards.   They will be the subject matter expert on Salesforce.com, and other databases and reporting tools to query and analyze data. 

 

This role requires a balance of data/technical expertise and project related skills to work with internal stakeholders on business requirements and then develop solutions and reporting to meet their needs.  This individual must be organized, detailed oriented, able to prioritize, pull and analyze data to see trends and articulate and communicate succinctly to Management key concepts and trends.  We are looking for a professional that is inquisitive and can build relationships with internal customers and others in the company to share and understand our data and structures.

 

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

 

. Subject matter expert in Salesforce.com, which requires knowledge of best practices, capabilities and restrictions, ability to create and maintain sales management reporting and dashboards.  Works with SFDC Admins and key business stakeholders on sales requirements for opportunities, contacts, and new functionality needed.

. Expertise with SQL building, maintaining and writing queries to access and report on data per business requirements. 

. Responsible for creating queries and reports to pull data and then audit and analyze data to articulate key trends to Sales and Sales Management.

. Advanced knowledge and ability to learn structure and relationships of our product, client, install base data and databases (SFDC, Oracle, etc.), and utilize company tools to access and generate reports for Sales Management with applications like Tableau and Cognos.

. Expert in Excel and advanced functional to analyze and report on data.

. Individual will maintain and enhance the OEM Sales Operations project management and tracking database “Quickbase” and will create standard and adhoc dashboards and reporting. 

. Demonstrates an ability to gather, analyze, and organize information and conduct comparative analysis and make recommendations support by facts, and present clear recommendations to management on moderately difficult to complex projects.

. Responsible for new hire training on SFDC and Quickbase, performs basic troubleshooting, communicate system enhancements, modifications, and analyze usage levels to detect possible knowledge gaps.

. Ability to work independently or as a team member and ability to prioritize work and deliver quality results within deadlines.

. Ability to build relationships cross-functionally to understand company’s data and tools and how others in the company utilize and report on data.

. Ability to succinctly articulate and communicate key data and findings to Sales and Sales Management.   

 

Qualifications & Requirements

 

. Bachelor’s degree and five years’ experience preferred.

. Certified in one of more of the following: 

    . Salesforce.com administration

    . SQL, Tableau administration

    . SharePoint administration

    . Advanced expert knowledge of Excel, and Tableau or Cognos

    . Project management experience preferred.
