CDK Global is currently seeking an experienced Channel Marketing Manager for our Digital Marketing business in our Seattle, WA office. This role is responsible for the channel marketing strategy of an assigned portfolio of OEM partners and will develop and implement marketing programs in support of customer acquisition, revenue growth and retention. The Channel Marketing Manager is a lead member of the marketing team and works to build awareness and drive demand of CDK Global’s digital solutions and services to, and within, OEM channel partners. They support CDK Global’s Sales Teams with marketing programs, both internally and externally, to assist in meeting the annual Channel sales goals.


Position Responsibilities & Essential functions


  • Work with Product Marketing and Enterprise Solutions to translate CDK Global and Marketing strategies, objectives, and projects into a concrete and actionable channel marketing strategic plan.
  • Develop channel marketing programs for sales growth and customer retention. Implement channel campaigns in order to expand market share and pursue aggressive growth targets.
  • Work closely with Integrated Marketing Team to plan and execute campaigns, trade shows and other promotional events focused on assigned channels.
  • Ensure that customers are up-to-date with new products and enhancements. Develop, maintain and manage partner website portal and associated content.
  • Support the sales enablement strategy, communication strategy, and overall CDK Global marketing strategy with guidance from Product Marketing and Corporate Marketing. 
  • Work with Product Marketing teams to digest program content, new products, and key initiatives. Continuously synthesize, prioritize, and position messages into marketing campaigns.
  • Interact with sales account leaders, present marketing plans and programs to them, and serve as the marketing expert for the products within our Digital Marketing business.
  • Create easy-to-absorb scripting for sales and services teams to improve their ability to engage prospects/customers through the channel marketing campaigns.
  • Work with sales and services teams to gather voice of the customer, incorporate feedback into marketing campaigns, and share recommendations with Product Marketing teams for program-level enhancements.
  • Measure channel marketing effectiveness through ongoing reporting and communicate progress against goals using Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics and other data measurement tools to inform marketing decisions.
  • Monitor industry-trends and competitive shifts to influence campaign messaging and investments.
  • Manage competing and changing priorities, resources, and time demands to produce plans and results that are efficient and goal-oriented.


Qualifications & Job Requirements


  • BA/BS degree in marketing, communication, or a related discipline.
  • 5-8 years of marketing experience, including in multi-tiered channel environments.  
  • Proven ability to develop and execute effective end-to-end channel marketing strategies
  • Can influence and advise internal partners on marketing strategy and direction. Able to develop strategies and frameworks, but also to drive the execution of these strategies.
  • Solid project management skills; multi-tasker able to meet deadlines and build stakeholder relationships despite ambiguous or shifting requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong editing skills; adept at telling insightful stories and can produce great marketing materials. Proficient in analytics and able to present data clearly to inform decisions.
  • Excellent organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Computer proficiency in a Windows environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Up to 30% Travel.


Preferred Attributes & Qualifications

  • Experience in the Automotive Industry a big plus.
  • Experience working with Marketing Automation or Sales Enablement platforms preferred.
  • Strong sense of initiative and resourcefulness.
  • Thinks big, is self-driven and motivated to achieve success.
  • Passion for designing and developing great content across multiple media (web, presentation, print, etc.)
  • Collaborative – Thrives working as part of a team.
