Position Summary

 

Manager, Accounts Receivable, will help carry out the strategic vision for Quote to Cash team working closely with North America Q2C and Controllership Organization. This role is a leadership role reporting to Director Quote to Cash that will require a candidate who can lead a collection and resolution area, partner globally with our shared services team and manage stakeholders.  This individual will maintain a strong control environment, quality assurance and process automation and develop a strong performing team.

 

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

 

  • Provide leadership and direction to direct reports and indirect staff
  • Develop, implement and manage departmental goals and objectives
  • Build relationship with Sales teams in helping to bring forward and resolve client escalations as related to non-payment on accounts
  • Daily management of open tasks, disputes and critical accounts
  • Partner with Shared services and Transformation teams to identify and implement process and system improvements, driving continuous improvement as well as proactive response to ever changing business and industry needs
  • Analyze, interpret and communicate accounts receivable issues and conduct AR reviews with key stakeholders
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and successfully manage these projects to contribute to the effectiveness of QTC processes
  • Ability to effectively communicate cross functionally and partner with internal business partners to drive initiatives
  • Create an environment for empowerment, innovation, learning and succession development
  • Cultivate a collaborative environment with QTC and business partners.
  • Partner and contribute in bigger transformation initiatives like ERP and CPQ implementation

 

Qualifications & Job Requirements

 

  • Strong leadership, data management and business partnership skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of accounting and financial processes
  • 10+ years of professional experience
  • Extensive experience with Accounts Receivable collections
  • Expert knowledge of standard processes in collection process, ability to drive standardization and process efficiencies
  • Meticulous attention to details
  • Knowledge of large ERP system (i.e. Oracle, SAP, etc.) preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible, adaptable, proactive and self-motivated.
  • Flexibility to work in multiple time zones
  • Ability to work well in high pressure situations in order to meet deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task and manage numerous simultaneous priorities
  • Proven ability to manage globally
  • Business Travel 5%
