Job Description

Purpose of role               

To ensure effective and efficient deployment of Dealer Management System (DMS) to our clients around but not limited to South East Asia region. Working as a member of the implementation team, you will analyze existing systems, conduct gap analysis and interface requirements, understand and provide business processes advise to customers for a successful operation using company DMS.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Engage customers to gather business requirements and identify product, functions and product setup requirements to help client achieve business needs
  • Guide & advise the customer in terms of best business practice and systems usage practices to achieve best ROI for selected product set
  • Establish (working with others) base software installation pack and configure the system to operate as expected
  • Perform system integration testing to ensure the solution delivers what's expected by the client
  • Manage and execute data migration activities (if required) to ensure that existing customer data is imported, validated and signed off by the customer prior to go-live
  • Verify with the client through User Acceptance Testing that the system is configured to operate as expected
  • Train the users prior to go live date in the operation of the products
  • Execute the cut-over into production on the agreed go live date
  • Provide on-site support to end users to guide, advise and verify that users are able to undertake the role using the products
  • Provide ad-hoc consultancy services to deliver ongoing advice and guidance to clients making minor system changes as required to tune the products for the client
  • Propose additional software and business solutions to the client based on solid knowledge of the client's processes and business requirements.


Additional responsibilities (as this will be a senior role)

  • Responsible for delivering our products right first time without supervision
  • Specialized working knowledge of key products and modules without supervision
  • Operating knowledge of our solutions and products
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of statutory requirements relevant to our product
  • Ability to own key issues within discipline and resolve to customer satisfaction
  • Provides clear and concise customer communication to agreed implementation criteria and sign off
  • Working closely with customer to understand their systems, and their operational requirements, processes and needs, in order to configure the products accordingly
  • Basic knowledge of project management methodology. Ability to identify scope changes and highlight impact accordingly
  • Ability to show and demo our solutions to potential client




Skills / Knowledge & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years work experience in ERP system
  • Minimum 3 years automotive experience would be an advantage
  • Have experience in vehicle sales process would be an advantage
  • Proven track record at a senior level in an automotive associated profession
  • Have experience of dealing with suppliers and customers at all levels
  • Be flexible and adaptable in their approach
  • Able to prioritize work effectively when working on a number of projects
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly develop effective working relationships with internal and external project teams
  • Strong PC technical knowledge, including MS Office, MS Excel
  • Aftersales and Accounting knowledge


Other requirements

  • Up to 70% travel and including back-to-back travel as per need



Qualifications required


  • Educated to a GCSE level as a minimum. Including 5 at Grade C or above including Math’s and English
