Purpose of Role

To ensure the effective and efficient deployment of the DMS system & New functionality. Working as a member of the installation team, you will analyse existing systems, interface requirements, business processes and operational needs and advise customers on product operation.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Engage with customers to understand business requirements and identify product, and product setup requirements to achieve the agreed aims
  2. Guide & advise the customer in terms of best practice operational processes and systems usage practices to achieve best ROI for the selected product set
  3. Establish (working with others) the base software installation pack and configure the system to operate as expected 4.Perform system integration testing to ensure the solution delivers what's expected by the client
  4. Manage and execute data migration activities (if required) to ensure that existing customer data is imported, validated and signed off by the customer prior to go-live
  5. Verify with the client through User Acceptance Testing that the system is configured to operate as expected
  6. Train the users prior to go live date in the operation of the products
  7. Execute the cut-over into production on the agreed go live date
  8. Provide on-site support to end users to guide, advise and verify that users are able to undertake the role using the products
  9. Provide ad-hoc follow consultancy services to deliver ongoing advice and guidance to clients making minor system changes as required to tune the products for the client

 

<Implementation Consultant 4 (Grade 11)>

  • Responsible for delivering CDK products right first time without supervision
  • Specialized working knowledge of key products and modules without supervision
  • Operating knowledge of CDK solutions and products
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of statutory and resolve to customer satisfaction
  • Provides clear and concise customer communication to agree implementation criteria and sign off
  • Working closely with customer to understand their systems, and their operational requirements, processes and needs, in order to configure the products accordingly
  • Basic knowledge of project management methodology.  Ability to identify scope changes and highlight impact accordingly.
  • Ability to show CDK solutions

 

Key Results Indicators & Measures of Success

  • Customer Feedback Positive engagement of all customers and stakeholders from feedback received
  • Implementation Performance Rollouts carried out to the planning note specifications as agreed by the project manager and the customer

 

Skills /Knowledge & Experience

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly develop effective working relationships with internal and external project teams
  • PC technical knowledge, including MS Office, MS Excel , Unix OS Command, Basic Programming Skill(Having a proper concept or experience), Basic Network Knowledge
  • Business IT Application, ERP, *Automotive Experience, *ERP Accounting Module Implementation Experience (*Optional)

 

Qualifications required

Essential: Bachelor Degree or equivalent level
