Purpose of role

  • Technical certification for the CDKi Partner Programme and managing the on-boarding process for new partners on the CDKi Partner Programme.
  • Getting excellent feedback from customers and Partners that confirms the right job has been completed and done well. Helping the project team and colleagues in CDK to be successful.

 Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison for technical queries from partners (including enterprise and OEM), escalating to the product and R&D teams where necessary.
  • Be responsible for running the technical certification process with partners through to operational pilot.
  • Be responsible for final partner sign off
  • Responsible for managing Partners through the certification process
  • Responsible for scheduling and organizing the installation process for dealers taking the API product
  • Ensuring we have contract and Purchase Order cover for the job before we start
  • Liaise with the contributing parts of the organisation (sales, middleware, CSDT, networks and hosting) to carry out the necessary installation steps
  • Carry out those steps in the process (such as rooftop environment and system level identification) that do not fall into other parts of the organisation.
  • Facilitation of KPI management reporting functions utilizing internal and external toolsets
  • Getting the resources identified and allocated, making sure they have the skills needed
  • Ensuring the team (CDK, Customer and Partner) are aware of individual responsibilities and actions, and are informed of status/progress. Chasing people to get things done on time
  • Getting the customer to go live status with the Partner, in accordance with the agreed plan so we can invoice the customer and Partner accordingly
  • Escalating as required when you get stuck or need help
  • Be the single point of contact (internally and externally) for all issues and status on the individual Partner project
  • Producing reports at agreed frequency and level of detail to make sure all the participants and stakeholders/management know what is going on
  • Making sure all project records and systems/data are up to date and accurate
  • Be prepared for random audits which are there to make sure you follow the right CDK processes in the right way

 

 

Skills / Knowledge & Experience

 

  • Good technical understanding of DMS and API environments         
  • Highly organised and a multi-tasker
  • Great communication skills (especially on the telephone with customers/Partners)
  • Experience of dealing with all types of customers and people at all levels
  • Good attention to detail
  • Can produce clear simple documents as required by the CDK project/certification and on boarding process
