The Inside Sales Manager manages the day-to-day activities and sales results of a channel sales team (ELEAD) within the broader inside sales organization. In this fast-paced role, you will lead a team of proactive outbound inside salespeople whose focus is to generate sales and increased market penetration for CDK’s ELEAD products into competitive accounts.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Taking a metrics-oriented and strategic selling approach to managing and coaching with their team daily
  • Leading execution of monthly sales targets and initiatives assigned to the group
  • Acting as a resource for current campaigns and projects as requested by various channel partners in CDK’s Sales and Marketing departments
  • Building relationships with various channel partners in order to promote teamwork and collaboration to drive sales
  • Assist in training of New Hires on established sales processes
  • Development of identified members into future potential supervisor candidates
  • Meeting 1:1 with team members to continue positive momentum toward sales goals
  • Taking a hands-on approach to problem solving the challenges that face the team
  • Accurate reporting and sales forecasting of team to the Director of Inside Sales



  • 2+ years of Team Lead or Managerial Experience
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in an inside/outside sales role
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced time management skills
  • Microsoft Office Skills, proficient
  • Ability to provide sound feedback & instruction to team members on a consistent basis


The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Technology Sales experience, specifically to understand CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools (preferably for lead follow-up, sale cycle disposition, campaign management, pipeline management, forecasting and lost opportunity tracking
  • Strong skills in keeping/maintaining comprehensive and accurate notes in the CRM system
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills
  • Self-starting capability with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and deal with pressure
  • The ability to sell, negotiate, persuade and influence
  • A general knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent oral communication skills with effective presentation skills to host web-based presentations to prospects
  • Sales Certification in Sales – completed training programs such as Sandler Sales Systems or Miller Heiman are ideal, but not required


We seek individuals with the ability to demonstrate sales coaching, time management, telephone sales skills and knowledge of CDK products and services (training provided). A goal-oriented individual with superior communication skills. Plus, the ability to lead a team to achieve goals as well as creatively and administratively, support the Director of Inside Sales to maximize sales results with accountability. The demonstrated ability to communicate using technical concepts is required.
