An exciting opportunity has arisen to join CDK Finland as a Sales Director 

 

Purpose of the role:

  • Lead, develop and manage the regional sales team and sales operations day-to-day activities
  • Deliver against the company´s sales objectives
  • Maximize profit through the sale of software and related solutions against the agreed strategic and operating plans
  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration and management of internal and external stakeholders
  • Cultivate value driven company culture where we strive together towards common goals, put our customers first, embrace continuous learning and have fun while doing it  

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for defining growth strategy, identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with targeted customers within assigned region
  • Responsible to achieve and exceed annual sales goals, sign contracts and win sustainable business by creating value to customers
  • Produce comprehensive Annual Sales Plans based on detailed Whitespace and Greenspace analysis
  • Drive the implementation and utilization of the CDKI Sales Model & Core Processes with particular emphasis on Sales Automation tools – e.g. Salesforce.com, Customer Journey etc. Ensure CRM (Salesforce.com) records are always properly updated.
  • Responsible for accurately forecasting opportunities and participating in sales/account reviews.
  • Work closely with other departments in achieving company objectives and further developing open, collaborative “One Team” culture
  • Work with the Country Manager and OEM/IMR liaison Associates to ensure CDK maximizes its opportunities within the OEM sector
  • Works with the partner management organization to drive local partner business growth
  • Drive customer engagement and loyalty with actionable strategic account plans
  • Maintain knowledge of automotive market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and customer base
  • Drive development activities to ensure we have required skills and competencies in the sales teams to meet and exceed both internal and external expectations

 

 

Skills and experience required:

  • Senior Leader level experience in Sales, preferably in the IT solution industry
  • Preferable but not essential - work experience within the automotive sector
  • A proven track record of sales growth gained in a technology solution sales environment where the ROI has been based on business process optimization
  • Change management experience to drive both internal and external business transformation activities
  • Strong customer mindset and exceptional relationship skills - maturity and diplomacy to handle the various levels within the client organizations
  • Able to implement a professional and structured sales approach, proven deal closing skills
  • Excellent people leader skills, experienced coach and motivator
  • Proven communication and negotiations skills
  • Resourceful, self-driven, innovative and willing to go the extra mile to meet and exceed expectations of internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly organized within a process orientated environment and able to drive business initiatives and influence stakeholders in global matrix organization
  • High integrity, accountable team player with ability to operate independently
